Does it matter to God that we develop a firm stance on our theology of election? Or is it best to view this as an unsearchable mystery?

If there are so may Bible verses for both sides of losing one's salvation, how do we know which side to take and what is the line to cross for losing one's salvation?

From a logical perspective, do all 5 Calvinistic points of TULIP prove each other? Meaning, if you adhere to one, then do you adhere to all 5; or if you disagree with one, then you disagree with all 5? Is Calvinism an "all-or-nothing" belief?

How should we approach Romans 9? In it Paul implies that God means some for righteousness and some for destruction. But it almost seems as if Paul is wrestling with this same question and is posing the idea that some are destined for destruction as a hypothetical question. So should we see the predestination of some for destruction as truth from this passage or as a question that even one of the founding members of the church wrestled with?

Is it practical to really spend a lot of time on questions like this that do not have a great impact on practical, day-to-day faith? These mechanics seem to not really affect us, more or less being a theological exercise and mystery. It seems almost silly that churches could break into different denominations based off of questions like this.

How does a belief in Universalism affect ones view on witnessing and "taking the gospel to the ends of the earth"? What's the point of one who believes in Universalism?

How did the church manage to last hundreds of years without anyone really having divine revelation from God about the malpractice taking place until Luther? How did it fall so far from Jesus, when He's literally how it began?

What would be a good way to respond to non-believer friends who ask about people in far off places who have never heard the gospel or the name of Jesus and how they could be saved?
